iPhone music

Hi, when I stream music over Bluetooth to my iDrive it lists all my playlists NOT in folders, just in one long list. The folders are listed there but if you click on one it just shows as empty.

To be clear, there are no playlists missing they are just not organised the way they are actually on the phone.

Anyone else notice this and any solutions?

Ps. I do have apple CarPlay, which works. But let's say I'm not 100% sure it's better than the BMW system.

If I understand your problem correctly, its a limitation of the Bluetooth connectivity. If you connect via USB you'll get more functionality (including Album artwork)
