Recommend me a Glasgow detailer....
When the new beast eventually arrives, I'd quite like to have it properly detailed, as I supect the dealership soap monkeys will doubtless use the obligatory grit-filled bucket and floor mop to wash the bodywork prior to handover.
Has anyone used a good detailer in the Glasgow area that they would recommend? Not looking to spend more than about £400 or so if possible. |

I've never used this company. But I've seen some of his work and had a chat to him. He certainly knows his stuff.

You can actually see my car in his FB wall thing: https://www.facebook.com/steven.bryce.valeting If you want to see more pictures of the finished car it's here: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1270031 Also, I can't remember how much he charged me but was less than 400 anyway.

I've used Robert a number of times and he did a new car detail on my car after I collected it from the dealer and took it straight to him. The time he spends in the cars is way in excess of what you would reasonably anyone to spend. He doesn't charge extra for the time, just wants to ensure he gets a finish he is happy with. I'm very fussy about my car and Robert knows this and his work certainly gets my seal of approval. |

I could recommend Richard if you don't mind going to Wishaw/Motherwell. He did a great job with my new car 2.5 years ago. http://www.rgkdetailing.com

+1 for Defined Details and the Head Detailer Gordon Muir. Gordon provided a new car detail for my 340i M Sport in April and did a great job. He is a specialist in his field and provides training to other detailing enthusiasts.

Thanks for all the replies and recommendations chaps, much appreciated. I've been lurking on Detailing World as well and am (vaguely) contemplating getting a basic but well-specced kit and doing a DIY job..... watch this space....

Detail in Glasgow
Hi,
I used Robert @ Incredible detail 3 yrs ago for new car prep. Took delivery of 330d without dealer prep and went straight to Robert. Got full detail, still looks good. Would use again as very professional, spent best part of 12 hrs over 2 days working on car. |
