Lease cars - same tyres on different wheels question
Hi gents,
New lease car (430D M sport GC with M sport plus pack) arrives in a few weeks. My only dislike about the car is the wheels (BMW just seem to now produce ugly wheels) so I'm tempted to buy a set of 19" 405M reps and swap the tyres over. My question is, will this cause any issue when getting new tyres (tyres are included in the maintenance)? I can't see how it would as ultimately they're the same size tyres so hopefully it'd got unnoticed, anyone got any experience of this? Cheers, Alex |

Which wheels is the car coming with? You had a choice between 403M's & 442M's, both of which are great looking wheels!?
Regarding the tyres, I would read the terms of the maintenance contract very carefully to see if there are any grounds on which they could refuse to replace the tyres on different wheels. Also which reps are you looking at? The ones I've seen are wider than the OEM wheels so the tyres would be quite stetched, especially on the rears! |
