Two new gremlins. Any ideas?

#1 My boost logged 28 psi, which is what it's supposed to be, for a few seconds then dropped to 21psi. We don't think I have a boost leak. Could this be boost solenoid? Poor vacuum?

#2my csr started overheating and showing s radiator symbol after drIvins 5 hours today. Mostly highway on cruise control. It has a new radiator, hoses, and pump. I did notice s wet spot inside the car on the drive tunnel carper under the dash by the passenger foot area. Idk if it's related. Didn't smell like antifreeze. I let the car cool for a bit then temps dropped some. Then driving it after temps continued to drop and not climb. The thermostat is broken open but I can't see that being the issue.

The wet spot is either a backed up a/c drain or a leaky evaporator, hopefully the first of the two.

It's not the evaporator. A/C is cold as ice. Maybe heater core? It's a cooling system issue. Not an A/C issue

I'm guessing your CSF radiator is leaking. Maybe from a rock thrown up, a bad weld or a bad connection. It's likely very small. It's not related to the water in the footwell.

I don't think so. There's some coolant residue by the chargepipe area too. Not much but there.

Did the overheat symbol on (thermometer) or just the radiator symbol? If it is just the radiator symbol then you may have a leak somewhere as suspected but not overheating yet or if you cant trace the leak maybe the wiring came undone from the coolant tank?

It did it in stages. First rad symbol. Figured small leak. Couldn't see anything. Heat stayed low where it belongs. Then a few hours later the overheat symbol.

Does it look like coolant came out from the expansion tank cap? If it didn't then maybe you might have an electrical glitch/error vs actually overheating. When the water pump fails or car decides it wants to overheat coolant will blow out of the expansion tank cap. I would get it scanned to see the codes.

Turns out the expansion tank has a crack along one of the seems. Waiting to hear about the boost issue still.
