Never seen one so couldn't comment. The exhaust, according to part numbers from BMW, is different from the M235i so the inlet, outlet pipes may be in different locations. Or they may not be. Only physically looking at one is going to yield that answer.

sounds good. I like it.
Any plans for Dinan to make Catless downpipes for any models or does that cut to much into the factory warranty side?
That being said - was there any notice to drone or cab noise with the resonator gone - dinan mufflers or MPE?

You will never see a downpipe from Dinan as they cannot be made emissions legal. Too much to lose selling from CA in terms of fines and scorn from CARB (which we have a 20+ year history with). Not to mention the dealerships tend to not look kindly on removal of the cats when it comes to warranty. Too many negatives.

The M235i and M2 have a tiny resonator to begin with so its removal had very little effect on drone to be honest. There may be a slight hum under 2k RPM but you really have to be searching for it.

Don't unfortunately. We had already sold our shop m235i and associated bits. This was just so similar to the M2 kit we figured it was stupid not to do it and got a local car in for test fitment which happened to have the m performance exhaust.

I've done a similar solution and went to my local muffler shop and cut out the resonator and weld in a straight pipe. There is a definitely an improvement in sound, but not dramatic. The stock resonator isn't that big anyways. It doesn't drone. I'm running ER catless dp and mp exhaust.

Idk man, I don't think the resonator alone is going to make a dramatic enough of a difference. I'd get an axel back exhaust and then have the muffler shop that does the install cut out the stock resonator.

I've watched your video numerous times on youtube over the last week haha.

I have DP installed already and my MP exhaust comes in this week. Debating whether or not to remove the resonator. Your car sounds great

Based on the cut spot, I can assume this fits with the MPE?

Unfortunately, no. Our M235i was sold before we got the production parts in for test fitting and sound clips--- our test fit vehicle that came in when the production parts did come in had MPE hence that system in the sound clip.
