295/30-19s Installed

Just mounted my 295 PSSs on my rear stock rims. HUGE thanks to keith@tirerack.com for the correct version of this tire for perfect fitment (there are different versions of this tire in this size with totally different dimensions). Totally flush, no rubbing, with no spacer used. Also additional thanks to keith@tirerack.com for developing my soon to come track package. Excellent service!

This is very very very encouraging. What did you end up putting on the front?

Tire looks a bit wide for the wheel.

Looks amazing!!

This was my plan as well, but I was considering going with R888s. The PSS look amazing here though.

Now put the 265s from the rear on the front rims and run no spacers!!

That is my plan!!

As a side note, your still liking the H&Rs??

Can you please post some pics of different angles showing how the tires (front and rear) fit within the fender when you get a chance. Much appreciated!!

EDIT: And your 10mm spacers are from Turner I assume??

IMO a 295 PSS on that width of wheel looks like a balloon. i too tried 295's on my 10.5 inch wide BBS wheels when it was time to get a new set. i tried them on and hated the look, went back to 275's and there is minor stretch but looks way better than a tall sidewall that bulges out. if michelin made the PSS in a 285 i think that would look the best.

245 front and 295 rear (on a 10" wheel no less)? This makes little sense but hey whatever.

Maybe he plans to do a 265/30/19 in the front. Available from Tirerack also.

265/30/19 295/30/19 sounds good to me.

I remember someone running that setup with R888s on an F80 M3 a while back and it looked great. It was a satin wrapped MG and it looked awesome on those tire specs with the 437s.

I sure hope this is the final plan ... 50mm stagger front to rear = power oversteer combined with massive understeer on corner entry

Great drag racing combo though ...

Awesome. Do you have any pics with good lighting showing off the width? Throw your stock rears on front!

Not that the M2 is lacking traction, although can you feel better traction with the 295's?

I really have no idea what advantage his setup has over stock besides straight line traction. The wider tire looks bad on the rim, too.

The McLaren 570S has 225 front and 285 rear tires, but that car is mid-engined and has 42F/58R weight distribution...

I was also thinking about running R888s....maybe on 18 square....plus BMW coil over suspension.
