Retrofit Comfort Access
This isn't probably a DIY qurstin, but dies anyone know if its possible to retrofit comfort access. I got an ex showroom car and its the one thing on the spec I would have liked the car didn't have (apart from the 3.0 engine that is)!
Surely its just another transponder somewhere on the car, maybe I'm over simplyfying it! Suggestions advise anyone? |

I don't think it's possible -- sorry.

so far everyone is just writing it off as impossible. it MAY be possible, but it appears it would be cheaper and way easier to SELL your car, and buy a new car with the comfort access. but if you have some weird emotional attachment to your particular car, and thousands of extra dollars to spend. then im sure its possible.

Couldnīt we have a big FAT sticky at the top of each forum with a thread title "CA RETROFIT DEFINITELY NOT POSSIBLE. STOP ASKING DAMNED"
It really is getting incredibly tiresome to read the same old question every bloody weak. Couldnīt the "new thread" button be made to seek the forums with the suggested title first and only then allow the actual opening of a new thread? Sorry for the rant, thatīs been coming for quite a while now...

Anything is possible.
But it would probably be very difficult, ridiculously expensive and just plain not worth it.
