Ever since I updated jb4 my car went to shit.

I updated jb4 last december and ever since I have been getting low boost codes and engine malfunction. I've had the car checked several times and nothing wrong was found. How do I completely revert any changes jb4 made and disable all settings to factory settings, and then do a complete uninstallation? Is there a guide? I didn't install it so I don't know where to start.

- How does the car run on Map0?
This is stock OEM map.

- Which firmware are you running?
The latest I believe is ISO 5.11.

- When you updated, did you update your User Adjustment settings?
There is a screenshot of what the default settings should be with the latest firmware (on N54Tech).

- Do you have the USB data cable, or bluetooth module?

I feel you. I had the same issues. Sold it and went MHD and I am so much happier.

Sounds like you set something wrong. It's all pretty basic. Directions and FAQ is posted here:

Double check settings.

Also as a thought perhaps you did not set duty bias values all to 0 and/or did not set menu4 in dash to 3. You can post a JB4 log to the n54tech support forum for advice on what you've done wrong if you need.

yeah, If you don't cover all your bases it can be a PITA. Like mike said, it sounds like you have your settings fucked up. Make sure you are in the correct mode(s) and have your application side settings correct.

It still had engine malfunction pop up if I pushed the car into high rpms in 3rd gear.

You mean duty bias? I did, but when I went to go check things again today they apparently all reset.

I actually did set it all to 0, but they somehow reset when I checked today. Whats menu 4/3?

I did a few pulls and the first run it knocked me into map 4 and then I went again and it seemed fine, but seems to be some boost loss.

Also all of my controls lit up break, service engine, abs, chassis malfunction, DCS malfunction, startup control deactivated. I tried pulling codes from the OBD with the map on 0 and couldnt even connect. JB4 gave me 3 codes that aren't listed anywhere. "2fe4" "2f60" "2f5f". Car also automatically shifts into second from first at around 3.5-4k rpm in manual mode (2013 335is e93 DCT) I haven't gotten an engine malfunction warning yet (this comes up sporadically), but it did knock me into map 4.

I uploaded a few pics of the settings i had, switched all duty bias to 0 and then max boost 3rd to 0 then did the runs

4/3 in the menu is to enable backend flash mode. Are you running a backend flash?

Read through the link posted earlier. All the info you need to set it up correctly is there.

And if you are having issues in map 0, then it's a problem with the car, not the jb4.

How's your plugs, coils, injectors and fuel pumps? Those are the first things to check
