We already know how some of the wheels will look like. This is an older render and very much based on the G01 7er.

Garage List

Look at this picture, the headlight shape will be nothing like that render either

The spypic also shows that the hood will not have those two creases ala AMG C63

sorry guys but I hope BMW does a better job at shaping the new 5 series. I really feel they are loosing the BMW heritage.

this rendering

resembles this...

You just have to take a 7 series, and make it a little bit smaller. this is the new G30 I think. Not bad, but I would like to see more courage from BMW designers, they made a lot of wonderful concept cars during the last years, and I don't know why, they don't take them as a base for the upcoming sedans. One for all, the wonderful Vision Luxury Concept.....
A bigger grill, that remind me the old '40s BMW is a perfect thing to use to cut with the past. I own an F10, and already own an ancient, wonderful E39 sedan, and I love their shape; to be honest, even if it'll be exactly a little 7 series, i'll buy it for sure but, something REALLY new is needed in my opinion.

The design is ok... I'd much rather see them deliver a good V8 engine that doesn't guzzle as much oil as gasoline. Focus on the important things...

Yes, I can see now. Not much similarity between the two.

The F10 was my favorite car from BMW when it first came out. However, if those photos are close to what the new model will be like, I think I may have a new favorite.

What an awful sound this 4 pots delivers ..... I wonder the 5 series to have olny 6 and 8 cylinders as the first gen. E39 had.

I saw the new 5 Series in a customer preview last Sunday. Not the Touring of course. But this picture is more accurate than any render I've seen so far, because you can see the shape of the headlights and the double character line on the doors.

Except from the usual "Oh it's new, I don't like it, BMW used to make better cars, I'll buy a Lexus/Mercedes/whatever instead" stuff? ;-)

I guess you'll like it. At least I did. Seemed more dynamic to me than the current generation, although I have to say I saw a car with M package, a 540i. And you have to admire how the infotainment systems are always one step ahead of the competitors'.

I'm beyond excited for this - and M Sport is the way to go in my mind, anyway! Appreciate the thoughts, I know you likely can't share much about what you saw.
