'07 335i coupe auction prices...
i posted this in another thread also.. but its on like page 3 and not many people will see it.. just thought some of you might be curious what these cars are going for at dealership only auctions... looks like the price has dropped a lot in a year.. hopefully its value will come back when the economy gets a little stronger... this info should help you a lot if your in the market for a used car, or just curious what dealerships are getting rid of them for at the auctions

here you go... this info can be extremely helpful when trying to negotiate with a dealership on a used car.. becase you can see exactly what they probably paid for it, or what its actually worth to them.. so you know how much they are marking it up

Curious, what else do '08 E92's have that '07s do not? I was only aware of no rechargeable flashlight, battery operated instead.. Anything else?

I don't think there is much else. Some small things - Like I got the Oil Cooler where as most early 07's did not. I believe the fuel pump may be a different part number also but don't hold me to that.
To be honest, it probably wasn't worth mentioning |

Can you post the 335i Sedan prices? I'm in the market for a 335i sedan was thinking of buying new but if prices have fallen so much in only 1 year I might think twice of buying new.

ps. to the guy who asked for the west coast stats... there were only 14 sold in march (this is because its still such a new car, usually at 2 years old is when BMW financial floods the auction market with cars off lease. but the numbers were... $38,089 $34,375 $30,061 5,001mi 10,001mi 15,002mi looks like the numbers were a bit lower on the west coast |

dealer auctions are great but they are like meat market.
you can't get the option and color you want and most of them dealer auction cars i find are mostly avg or below avg. Very few above avg. I don't know what people do with the car but in just few months they just tear it up. I been to Manhiem many times and that is what i found. I rather get ED and save a little and get the car optioned the way i want them to go to dealer auction and get raped. my 2cents.

haha for as many times as we see the threads saying that a car is not an investment, people are constantly checking the wholesale value and driving themselves insane. I guess we live in a zillow.com society. Oh, my, my house is seven figures, woooohoooo! Try to sell it and one finds it's been overestimated by 35-40%. A "feel good" wesite just as many of the things we see on the web.

Guys, the screen that you are looking at is a market report for the entire USA from manheim's website.
The prices include EVERY 335 coupe or convertible in the US sold at a manheim auction. So that includes cars that were sold salvage title, theft recovery, lemon law returns as well as brand new and god condtion cars. Those values are way lower then what the true market condition of the cars are. If you were to click on the transactions tab, it would tell you an itemized report of each car that ran. Thats a more realistic gauge of what the car is worth. Also the auction fees are not included in those prices and can be upwards of 5-600 a car sometimes. I just have a lot of experience using that software and didnt want anyone to make any mistake interpreting it. |

Thanks for the explanation.
I bought my E90 new, but wanted to get a 2nd one used around 30K. I had my hopes up it'll drop to that next year, but maybe 2 more years Quote:
