I would prefer a roll racing event as this won't kill drive Line components like drag racing potentially can!

Don't worry sock, I just sent Roll Racing Australia an e-mail and this is what they said

"Yes we will be bringing some Roll Racing events to Melbourne and are currently in talks with the tracks to secure a venue.

Thanks for your interest"

What's the other car?

I think these car's are perfect for roll racing given the shitty traction they offer thanks to the big torque down low.

I've raced my N54's at Sydney Dragways for the past 6 years and it's just not suitable when you can't make the tires stick in 1st and 2nd.

I think I managed 13 or 14 runs the other night at the roll on event and raced all kinds of cars from a 1000hp GTR, 2 Evo's, 2 Sti's, Audi S7 V8 twin turbo, BMW 1M, 2 HSV's, 700hp Holden HQ and a 1974 Corolla (13B Turbo).

My car did well considering I'm still on stock turbos. I won most of the races except for the GTR, HQ Monaro and just lost to the Corolla.

The best run was against the twin turbo V8 Audi. I just got him on the first run the he just beat me on the second run.

I have videos from my dash cam except it's forward facing so you only see the runs I lost. The 1000hp GTR pulled a good couple of bus lengths on me but that was to be expected.

Forgot to take the GoPro.

It's actually up! 100m head start ain't gonna do shit.. I need 900m head start over the 1000m race! You know I've taken it to the drags right? Excellent on fuel though and I love the care free motoring.

What was the S7 out of interest? Matte black?

That's the car. I forgot the guys name. He use to have a 135i. I think it's running 350 All wheel kw.

888MAI? If it's think I who it is, it's David - he used to be on here when he had a 320d. Now he's got a 135i for the missus and rocking the S7 himself.. not bad.. It has run 11.1 1/4 mile I believe.
