Hydraulic Trolley Jack Load?

Hey guys, what load should i get the Hydraulic Trolley Jack?

wondering if i should get the 1400kg or the 2000kg?

1.4t is more than sufficient. Got mine 4 years ago from SuperCheap Auto when they were on sales. Still working fine today.

A F30 320i is 1475kg & F30 328i is 1505kg, I would say go with the higher one in case.

1.4t should be plenty unless youre jacking it from the forwards front, which even then would be sufficent. Keep in mind when you jack a car, a large sum of its weight is re dispersed through the wheels into the ground. The jack acts as a lever, and actually doesn't stress 'that' much mass.

You probably already know this if you know about trolley jacks but make sure you buy some jack pads to fit the f30. Cheap ebay ones are fine.

You're right, the weights dispersed. In that case, 1.4 should be perfect
