Just installed CF Intake + PICS!!

Just installed the Carbon Fiber intake I got from Euro Dyne. The install was stright forward and very simple. The fitmet was spot on. Had to drill one hole, but that's the only labor i had to do.

I can feel the increase from the drivers seat. Also, noticed a small 1-2 MPG increase. The throttle seems more responsive. The flat spot at 2k rpm is no more. The biggest differnce is the pull at 5k rpm, it seems like a new car. The sound is nice to ears aswell.

Wish i could get a dyno done, but have no idea how much they cost or where a close one in LA is?

Euro Dyne carries a good amount of carbon fiber parts for e90's/e92's. The guys from Euro Dyne were a breeze to work with. Will purchase through them in the future.

you fit ment seems a bit off. did you remove the rubber shock plug on the bottom? if you haven't then i think is the reason why your intake seems to be a bit higher than usual?

cause i did an install on a 330i last week, and the intake is flush

Hmm.. didn't see a rubber shock plug, but i will uninstall is and look for it. The fitment seems to be flush, but i guess it could always be better?

is a big round plug. you can proably tell if you still have it, push the intake lightly down, if ther is some forgiveness, then you probably still have the rubber plug!

323d - Nice, yea i found the plug. Fits much more flush now. Thanks. I have taken this thing off so many times now i should get paid to do it. =)

Miamibuster - Mine was used for much less then 600, and my buddy had an extra filter. But thanks for the post douche.

i onlt commented because i got mine for 300 shipped brand new with filter and recharge kit. sorry for the LOL i just thought u did not search here before you bought it.

I did search and knew that i could try to haggle with a seller in Hong Kong on ebay.. or pay 375 for a used one that i could see first hand and test fit to my car. Got a free filter as i said before. I research before i purchase for the reason to not get ripped off.

Yea the hood is sick. thinking about picking one up and painting it jet black to match my car. I think that would look very slick.

Hey, the intake looks excellent - both of them: the one on your car and the other system posted in the link. there's a pic of what i thought was what you installed (E90/2 Non Turbo CF Intake Box (cone not included) $625 + $35 Shipping = $660) but it looks like they're different.

Are they? The one in the link from Euro Dyne look like the Simota and the one on your car looks like the GrouppeM.

Jo- The only way people got intakes that cheap is becuase they offered that guy on ebay a cheaper price. But, he stopped taking offers a while ago. So, no more cheap intakes from ebay. Another reason i bought from you guys.
