Thank you.
I'm still waiting on my blacklines, but I did get the trim to de-roof rail it. And plan on tinting very soon.
The thing that sucks, but is good is I'm going to Europe on the 26th for 6 weeks. No E91 for me ,BUT I can pick up some part for my baby while I'm there. any suggestions of who to deal with on getting parts?

No, sorry.

But did you know that in germany the roof rail is a € 200 option for every e91?

We pay to get it, you pay to dump it! Crazy stuff!

BtW: I'm still not sure if I should order the rails on my Lemans Blue e91....

Everything I need to carry fits INSIDE my car, so no need for the rails, plus it looks better IMO.

I'm coming to germany, 3 weeks , you want my rails? I want some clear side markers to trade for my amber ones. of course

Lemans Blue, very nice. I would have ordered that if it was available here.

Chitown: That's awesome! Wish you all the best with your PCD and safe drive back home (esp in this weather). Have fun and don't forge the break-in routine. I wonder if they'll do something special for Valentines day.

Did you pull up a weather report yet?

Wow! Talk about being prepared...I don't think I'd be half as equipped as you are, you really are taking this whole thing seriously. Are you going to enlist their help to install those items i.e. the knob and exhaust trim? Do let us know what they can or can't do for us at the PC.

Thanks.
It looks to me like the weather will be good.
Sunny high 60. For a Chicago native 60 degrees in Feb. is t-shirt weather.
I actually have some family about 10 miles from the BMW center, so I get to visit them also. They say I might run into some snow crossing the mountains, so I'm prepared to go slow.

ChiTown, Could you please please please please please post pics of blacklines on your TiAg E91 as soon as they are mounted? After over 2 months of seeing them every day, I still kinda dislike the stock rear lights on mine and I would love to replace them with blacklines. My only doubt is though whether the blacklines will work on a light colour like TiAg....

Have tons of fun with your car!!! Can hardly wait to see your pictures!!!

Will do.
They are currently back-ordered so unless they come in before I leave for europe, it will be a little while. Sorry, I want to see them too.
I might even cancel the order here and pick them up in the Homeland.
Anyone have any recommendations for getting parts in Germany?

I live about 20 mi. outside of Chicago and plan on picking up my car from Greenville when it becomes available (Red 2 door, sp, grey leather). I can't wait to hear about the whole experience. Are you doing the driving school?

Just the drivers course they offer with the PCD. It seems they offer a variety of courses. Can't wait to thrash a Bimmer either way.
I'm going to driver school here:

www.windycitybmw.com

Welcome to e90post. ( my Mom's in Merrillville.)
