Need more noise!

I seriously cannot tell when I'm supposed to shift this thing in 'manual' mode.. it's so quiet and there is zero vibration in the wheel.

I need more sound. What are you guys doing here? Any intakes or exhaust available yet? Can I crank the active sound somehow?

I'm in the same boat as you! I feel like our cars will sound amazing with an exhaust. I'm considering doing a resonator and/or muffler delete but I dont want it to have too much drone to the point it sounds like a Civic. Really hoping some M Performance parts drop so I can purchase a few

Could be hit or miss. Definitely would not remove your resonator. But I'm also debating just pulling the muffler off and removing sound deadening from it.

I tried to enable active sound sometime ago and got nothing. I was able to populate a menu under settings as well with I think 4 different engine sounds but noticed nothing in any of them. Coming from my 328i and now my 428i, I honestly don't believe this module does anything.

You have to follow coding sheet for the Mini F56. You get a new item in the settings with 4 or 5 different engine sound profiles but they don't seem to work.

Since the F48 shares a lot of parts with the F54 MINI Clubman, I wonder if an F54 exhaust can be easily adapted to fit.

Or just go the custom route and swap out the muffler for a universal aftermarket one.
