Light and rain sensor
Hello,
Does anybody know a solution for my problem? I've been coding a while ago but i have a problem. I think I did something wrong. When I put my light and rainsensor on auto it won't work. The lights on auto-mode are always turned on and when i press the auto-rain sensor on auto they work like a interval. When it is very sunny outside they wont go off and when it is raining heavy, the rainwispers won't go faster... Somebody know what i can change? Thanks |

Hi
If u haven't changed the car spec in esys then re-code ur rain and light ecu - right click on relevant ecu in ecu tree and press code - this will re-code ecu to factory defaults I believe Hope this helps !!! DO NOT PRESS "CODE DEFAULT VALUES" !!! |

As for ecu tree in E-sys under "Coding" - Read FA - activate FA - Read SVT - Save SVT then on the left hand side (below FA list) you'll find an ecu tree, right click on relevant ecu(on yellow folder) and click "code" this will code the ecu to factory settings (to your car spec as it left the factory) See pic below - SVT window under Vehicle order window them yellow folders are the ECU's in the car Last edited by artiik; 07-03-2016 at 05:14 PM.. |

I just did what was written. All what i changed is reset.
But the rain sensor still works like an interval and lights auto pop up when the car is running. Is there a way to reset the rain sensor? Or calibrate? My car was chiptuned, could it be that this is lost? |

If that doesn't work you could re-initialising the the module using EDIABAS and Tool32. I had a new windscreen fitted after a crack appearing. The module had to be re-calibrated as it just wasn't responding to the level of rain correctly.
