Stealership offered me M4 GTS at $50k over MSRP

I hope no one is foolish enough or gives in to this kind of gauging. I have many
cars including a GT3RS and can easily afford to pay it, but i won't!! I hope we enthusiasts' finally stop supporting this price gauging. Let the car sit there at that price.

This is a car that the original coupon holder backed out of, car is scheduled for a november build date. Buyer does not have the ability to select the color, the car is already configured.

LOL At that point, pushing $200k....I'm looking at Aston Martins, or a "base" model GT3 RS...depending if I want some luxury with my speed.

you know there is a way to get your exact point across without bragging about what you own and can easily afford. The level of self serving posts on this forum is at times embarrassing to be associated with. It would look something like this

Actually, one of my points , which you miss, is that it is possible to acquire some pretty hard to get vehicles without having to give into these huge overs that dealers are trying to hit us with. Also, if you dont like the posts on the forum, im sure you know the rest.....

Thats what i thought as well, but i'm sure BMW doesnt know the customer isnt taking delivery. The dealership must have a sketchy deal worked out with the customer to get the car.

No worries, your original post was just fine. The fact that your simple post got his panties in such a bunch says a lot.

Find me an RS for 200K and I'll buy you a beer. They are pretty hard to find for under 250.

I was seriously considering this GTS (including mark up) but I have foregone it for the penile implant (latest CF model with laser aiming and IR camera)..

I think some of you are being overly harsh on the OP. I think he should be given credit for obtaining a job that pays so well without needing to know the difference between gauging and gouging.

Bragging or Ripping on someone - which is better?

Love the banter and humor, but is attacking someone and totally missing his point better than bragging itself? Seems like there are buyers out there willing to pay over MSRP regardless of the best efforts of many to boycott such behavior. I am guilty of agree to pay $15k over sticker not because I own a stable of amazing "ponies" but simply because I want this car.

i didnt miss a point, it just wasnt made because you didnt mention anything about not paying a markup for a gt3rs. i like the majority of the forum, but i also call it how i see it. I'm sure you can understand how someone could interpret your post negatively.
