I feel my Bower&W sound system is not 360degree surround

I feel my Bower&W sound system is not 360degree surround.

means I can easily feel the sound only come from from part close to windshield, but not come from rear.

anyone has same experience?

I have checked all settings.

Drove my 750Xi through desert to Las Vegas last week, now is over 5K miles already.

the real desert, not popular high way, only one lane.


stability is much better than Jaguar XJL.

you might want to check the Bower & Wilkins settings as they have the studio setting standard (ie, like is typical, most sound SHOULD come from the front).

they also have other "environmental" settings but the only thing coming from the back on a proper audio system is the reverb/echo.

I would find another B&W at the dealer... take a CD/Memory stick with a song that you have played in your 7 and try it in the dealers 7 to compare... if both sound the same (ie - 3d or lack of 3d) with same setting. Have you experienced the 'clipping' that others are reporting on the B&W?

My speaks dont have hat clipping effect.

If I got time, will do that. the problem is I dont have time…

FYI,

I am playing FLAC files through a USB stick without no popping, crackling etc. Works great!

Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Pepe Romero (classical guitar), Skrillex, etc.

I just traded my 14' 7er with the B&O for the 17' 7er with the B&W, and I feel the sound isn't as full as it should be... Perhaps we are experiencing the same thing?

Take a pic of your settings and upload them.
But as another guy said go to a dealer and test it on another 7 and see if it needs service.
I know if you have the settings set for like lounge and concert it makes it more front/rear bias and that gets annoying
make sure it's set for studio!
