can anyone identify this front bumper?
I was looking at the Duke Dynamics website because I am interested in purchasing the Power Vent hood for my E92 335xi. Toward the bottom of the gallery for the hood, I saw a couple pictures of this bumper which I really like the look of. It looks a bit like the m-Tech bumper in the middle, but the vents off to the side and the fog lights are quite different.
can anyone tell me who makes this bumper, and/or where I might find one for sale? there are a couple pictures of the mystery bumper toward the bottom of this page: https://www.flickr.com/photos/128057...57647550917489 here it is: Last edited by maxmitchell; 06-22-2016 at 08:12 AM.. Thanks everyone!
It looks like the bumper sells for 515 Euros (about $585 USD). A little on the high side, but not crazy. Shipping it over from Germany will probably up the cost considerably though. Now that I know what to web search for, I've found some pictures from some different angles. Yeah, now I'm not so sure if I really love the styling. I see your point about the Mazda3 open-mouthed grin syndrome. Despite that, I DO think the curvature of the side vents matches the E92 headlight shape pretty well, and the bumper might be a good match if I end up going with the Duke Dynamics vented hood. That hood has that narrow F10 looking feature down the middle of the hood, which I like a lot. I have an "m3-style" front bumper on my 335xi currently, but it got cracked badly last winter. I'm looking for something different to replace it with because after having lived with it for some time, I now think it sort of looks like a big catfish mouth (not Mazda3 goofy, but still...). Maybe I'll just go with an m-tech along with the Duke hood. Opinions? |
