Bags or Coils?

I am waiting on my m2 to arrive, and want an aggressive stance before I upgrade the rims to HRE or BBS. I love the idea of air suspension, because you can adjust the height on the fly. I was wondering how does it drive, performance wise, compared to coilovers.

Basically I'm asking you guys, which do you prefer and why?

Go with air bags and and make sure to weld in any brackets to make the installation totally permanent. Slammed cars handle amazing so the lower the better.

The more M2s that get totally hacked up and modded to hell (ruined in this case) the higher my resale will be in 3 years.

You could do a BC f80 setup. Get shorter swift springs and then run air cups all around

Bags have come a long way and offer a nice ride with decent performance. Will it be better than a proper coilover set up? No. At the cost itll take to bag an M2 which im assuming is comparable to the M3/M4 you could wait and probably get a crazy coilover setup that bags would never match

Personally I wouldn't bag an M2, short of the show cars at SEMA that are trailer queens you don't see many performance cars bagged and there are plenty of reasons for that. I would go with a coilover suspension, the BMW performance suspension is an affordable and likey excellent option that won't kill your resale and require a bunch of compressors and air lines. I am buying my M2 because I want a car that is engineered for performance, the last thing I would do is mess with the suspension in that way.

I had air ride (air lift) on my 335i e92. Don't bag the M2... spend your $$$ on some quality coilovers instead if you are looking for a drop
