Does anyone know what HWS stands for?

Must we insist on using abbreviations that are not ubiquitous conventions in the English Language?

I've seen the term 'HWS' used in the context of front bumpers. For instance, Front Bumper with HWS, or Bumper without HWS.

Not that it's posted anywhere that can be easily located on google, but I think it means Headlight Washer System?

I Googled this on the web and came up with Husbands Without Sex, Historical Wireless Society, Health of Washington State, Heritage Web Solutions, Health & Wellness Services, Halcrow Water Service, etc.

lol. when i lived in missouri, those little headlight washers were useful when snow turned to road slush that was splashed onto my headlights by cars i was following.

the other day i pressed my windshield washer button twice, and out came the HWS. it sprayed not only my headlights, but sprinkled my nicely waxed hood with spray droplets. i'll be more careful next time.
