OK, must be that one. Had not noticed that thread before. That makes two independent sources confirming the same information.

Now you got the code too, so you can inquire if it applies (not) to your M2. It applies to mine (EURO spec).

I asked about it yesterday when I picked up my car from the 2000km service and he said my car wasn't flagged (yet). So it might be at a later date or I'm good.

It would be quite bad for BMW to know of mistakes made and not correct them in the newer builds... So you are 100% safe.

Haha when it comes to this stuff, I trust no one! Will probably still inspect them myself when it comes in.

As I posted in the other thread, I think this is the same recall we heard about when a bunch of HEA M2's were stuck on US ports waiting to be fixed before release to dealers.
