Muffler Question
Im thinking about doing a custom exhaust
im going to get magnaflow mufflers but im wondering which is louder... 4 inch radius or 7 inch im not gonna do 7 i just want to do is it louder as i go up or louder as i go down

the 7 inch radius canister will be quieter than a 4 inch, it has more packing material around the flow tube to absorb the pressure wave.
But I don't believe you are looking at the proper measurements for the Magnaflow mufflers. I don't recall them having 4 inch canisters. I do know that they have 4 inch length Tips and 7 inch length tips though on their SS polished series. Generally speaking, the longer the muffler and the more packing material around it, it will be quieter. It also depends on what type of packing material they use.
