Talking

I had the time to wrap all of my brushed aluminium interior trim pieces today with 3M 1080 carbon fibre, and I am very happy with the result! Most of it was pretty easy, except for the dash piece due to the trim finisher and vent surrounds not being removable, so I did mess up the first attempt cutting along the join with the gloss black with a scalpel. Took me about 3 hours in total, and only £43.99 in materials!

Whaddya all think?

Looks amazing. I'd give anything to have this done and get rid of my alu hex. Very jealous!

Blooming stonking teaston, looks fantastic.

That's a £400 option on an M3.

Looks good, when i done mine the dash piece started to warp at the edge it cant fold under due to hot/cold changes so keep an eye on that as it looks awful half peeled

Looks very nice. So is it just cut all the way along where it meets the thin bit of trim? Bet that was hard.

Sometimes wish I had gone for red leather, much more 'sporty' than the oyster.

Yes all along the gloss black trim, and around the silver accents around the vents. Vent bit is easy as there's a thin gap that the blade fits into, but the gloss black bit is tricky!
