Akebono pads... who's got best price?

Need some on order tonight... I did a quick look on line at work and prices were all over the place.

Are these good with keeping the dust down?

I get mine from Tire rack, at the time they had the best price

And yes, the brake dust is almost non existent, what there is is a light tan color instead of black

Used to have to clean my wheels 2X per week with OEM pads, now it's about 1X per month

For my BMW and my Avalanche I just sold, I got mine through Amazon. The Akebono fronts I just put on my Escalade I found a super deal through eBay...I'll take a beat up box for 1/3 the cost.

Use them on my wife's and my Nissan (ProAct), and I have used both amazon and rockauto. I thought that rock is cheaper but you have to pay for shipping, so when that happens, I load up air and oil filters until the shipping price changes, then I back off the qty...so I spread the shipping over more items. With no tax it is cheaper, but you have to buy more....

example, rockauto has kick a** prices on WIX oil filters, that I use for my wife's and my Nissan, maybe $5 to amazon's $9 (is shipping really free?). Also, amazon's prices fluctuate by the hour now. I watched a humidifier go from $69 to $35, bought it at $35, then it went up to $49 prime only. Who needs that game...or prime.

FCPEuro.com

Just picked up a bunch of suspension stuff from them. Good prices, and they price matched two parts in my order. Great customer service, and they offer a lifetime replacement (just ordered my first parts from them, so I don't know how it works, but it's impressive just the same).

All in all, I probably won't order anywhere else for now on.

Go to NAPA and tell them you work for AAA auto. Gets you the best discount. Lookup the closest AAA service center near you.
