Ordered a new toy

My birthday is coming up, so I ordered myself a new detailing toy. Any self-respecting detail nerd uses three buckets with grit guards. Well, I've just upped my game and added a washboard to my rinse bucket. Weather prevents me from washing my car until Monday. I'll have impressions then.

Nice, I really need to break down and order the two bucket grit guard kit and a power wand. I keep putting it off. I usually stick to the self washing car wash and avoid the foam brush at all costs with heavy high power soap spray. I know...its ridiculous. Should only be done in the winter. Happy bday coming up btw

Oh man, my neighbors think I'm freaking nuts, but I'll never be without them.

Its the proper way to wash your car. Its not nuts at all. Its ideal. In fact its time I order a kit. Going on a search to find a two bucket grit guard to get started.

You should see the looks I get when I'm using the leaf blower to blow dry my car.
