New Port Injection Install

So my port injection is now installed on my 2011 335i. I called Steve at Fuel-It to get a starting point. I was thinking he'd say go with 3 or 4 gallons of corn fuel, the rest 93, and put it on Map 5 to get going. Instead he said do a 50 50 blend, start out with Map 4, and send him a log. Not sure what Map 4 is, as there is no boost listed. But whatever it is, wow. With the traction control on the car was a tad skiddish, as the rear end fought for traction. After I turned it off, the MFactory 3.42 LSD showed it's value. Straight, true, and smooth. In my short time with this upgrade I can already say that I am impressed, and glad that I went there.

Are you trolling? Map 4 is stock boost levels...

The e85 bef isn't too shabby on its own. Just a guess but maybe he's running that and 4 - 3 on his jb4.

Don't log with traction control on. You won't get clean logs.

Not trolling. I have spent much too much money recently on this upgrade to get ahead of myself. Steve of fuel-it said that there were a few issues with the first log I sent him that need to be addressed. After some back and forth, with me trying to understand the what and why, I made the following change: 4 - 2. As I have the Dinan Stage 3 tune I believe he wanted the JB4 to be made aware of a non BMW base tune, and operate accordingly. After the change things seem smoother. Shifts, power... Tomorrow I will pull a third gear log and send it to him. If any of you do this upgrade, provide him the logs, and do what he asks. I think he does better when people just do, versus asking questions why along the way. We can learn the why after we see > 500 whp.

Turbod. As inferred I think Steve's intent was to assure that things are OK prior to turning up the boost. As there were a few issues that he saw in the log, I think it is the proper, and safe thing to do. As of now, I am happy with the upgrade. The car already runs better, and has some good power on my stock tune (+ the extra boost due to the 3.5 TMAP sensor).
