Does anyone know if the dealers have the new configuration system available yet?

I am in the process of ordering an M sport and would like to have the new addition of the veneto beige leather. Anyone know the order code?

I'm also interested in the CarPlay option when it's available. Is the enhanced BT mandatory to get this?

In that case perhaps it's been added to the SE and ED Plus and luxury.

I have those codes. LCV1 and LCFL respectively.

No idea if ebt is required and BMW don't know either. So I'm going to order it anyway as it also has some cool features.

Can't decide between Venetian and black/blue!

Does the Venetian with black mean just the seats are beige, all else is black?

If you look at the online configurator for the Luxury model, on some interior colour options there is a black band at the bottom of the icon, as is the case with oyster and the carpets are shown as black in the picture.

The beige has no stripe and the carpets are also beige. So I think the new option is beige seating with black carpets.

Anyone know better?

That's my reading of the BMW press release too - I dislike beige carpets nearly as much as a half beige dash

Black/blue is available to order. The dealers have better configurator access than us. My dealer has it on my spec ready to sign... So, I assume the beige is also there.

Just trying to sort a GFV discrepancy out...

But, they can't find out any iDrive 5.0 or CarPlay detail...

EBT is junk with iPhones. In the office section only text messages work! Voice control is like a phone from ten years ago. I have it on my present car and would not spec it again. Unless it was essential for a "Free" CarPlay retrofit...

Siri works through the voice button on my wife's 15 plate mini...

Idrive 5 is just the same code as before 609 professional nav I think. It should just be the new one if it is built in July onwards.
