Adaptive LED headlights....again!

I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find the thread/post that showed a pic of the menu coding, but can adaptive LED headlights be coded for continental use?

Thanks mate! Apologies for not mentioning in the post but I'm not brave enough to attempt coding, I'm still at infant school when it comes to computers! Maybe someone in the North East area does this who I could speak to?
Do you know if this will then enable the option on i-drive in 'settings', 'lights' like this post from a different thread?

I'm about as far away from the North East as can be!

Not coded this myself however I noticed on the X5 that this options appears in the iDrive, not sure if coding adds it or just reconfigures the lights (and therefore you'd need to re-code to swap back).

No you'll not!....That's why us 'poor relations' 4 series owners are expected to stick those shitty masks on our headlights when we go abroad!!

(See my other thread about them!!!)

If you have full leds you dont have to do anything I checked in the manual again and it states that. Just turn adaptive and auto dimming off. Mine is an lci mind you.

Wonder if the part number for your headlight units are the same as mine??

I'll try and see if I can check that somehow......

This is the same for xenons too - no need to code or sticker for overseas, just turn off adaptive and the beam is flat.

Thanks mate!.....I'm going to check mine and if beam is flat then I can live without adaptive whilst abroad and do it the old fashioned way with the column stalk and no HBA....that'll be novel!

Xenons still have a slight flick up on the left even in the 'on' position.

Before going aboard I took mine into the dealer to check up against their alignment wall. Even the flick up was below the limit.

No 'Beam Benders' and no flashes driving in France. But, you do miss the Adaptive and dancing lights. First world problems...

Thanks Rich, I'll do that with my car. Got a very good rapport with my dealer so I'm sure they'd check that out for me!
