Transmission is for sure shot at 69k question on warranty and FBO...

Well my transmission is for sure 100% slipping bad at shift change and in second gear if I step on it at say 3500-4000 rpm it shakes n slips and goes to gear 3 even tho it still says M2. At shift points it will shift rpms jump 500 or so after the shift takes place. Sad thing is it just started happening after my downpipe install. I am FBO JB4 VRSF DPS VRSF 7 inch FMIC BMS E85 BEF VRSF chargepipe /w HKS. Now I am still under an aftermarket warranty but obviously I would have to take all the mods out of the car and revert to 100% stock. My car is a 2008 335XI with 69k. I enjoyed the power and it was amazing but I am unsure what I want to do even if the warranty approves a new transmission. I am guessing I would have to put stock tires n rims on (probably use my winter tire set) because I run 265 rear and 235's front witch is not even an option for my car. My warranty was through my Credit union. Not sure what I even want to do. My friend is a ASE certified mechanic and told me in school he has rebuilt automatic transmissions and they are not that hard..... I am afraid tho how long will a new transmission handle that power? When I go to map 4 on the JB4 (stock boost) I cannot get the transmission to even malfunction yet but it will soon its getting worse and worse real fast. The car pulled like crazy and was so fun but debating on just selling the mods after the rebuilt transmission and selling the car.

How deep can a warranty company dig to prove this car was modded? I know I have a solid day or more reverting this back to stock and I had to trim for the FMIC obviously...

BTW off subject but I thought the Kittyless DP install was a complete breeze with dropping the subframe and all pretty easy imo but I had my ASE certified friend with me too to help with the V clamps and all.

Is a transmission failure with this type of miles and power even normal for this car I thought the transmissions were pretty solid? O and if I go WOT from 1st to 2nd it shifts then slams back into 1st making the rpms go silly high and I get a gear light on my dash. Along with a ton of other lights.

Transmissions are solid. You have an anomaly. They're usually good to 500hp. You aren't even close. On your car the weak link is typically the front running gear, transfer case, etc. I'd rebuild, and keep your mods. If you take the stuff out, and clear the codes, you should be fine for warranty.

Can a warranty company claim I didn't maintain the transmission even tho BMW claims its lifetime fluid?

The N54 Flasher can clear all codes via android right? I know it clears shadow codes.

A little off subject but after the transmission started getting messed up I pulled the AWD fuse that makes the wipers go crazy and stuff just to have some fun and wow even with 265 Michelin Pilot Super sports on the rear the rear end was kicking out all over the place lol besides a few turns that the open dif just spun 1 tire lol but traction issues galore. Even the AWD when the transmission shifted to 3rd at about 60 mph would slip the tires and the traction light would flash (when it wasn't malfunctioning). I am pushing 20 psi midrange on map 7 with BEF.
