Flat tire monitor/tire pressure monitor
I must be missing something...not the first time. when i look at the owner's manual to reset the monitor system(s)...through the stalk...the instructions for setting the 'flat tire' and 'tire pressure' are exactly the same but the 'displays' referenced and pictured are not the same. It's as if you're supposed to set each one idividually but you can't.
Thoughts? Thanks |

If your 3 series was built after 3/1/07 you most likely have the TPMS sensors. You cannot reset the individual tire pressures. I have set mine a few times as per the manual and it works as every time. As for setting for "flat tire", I am completely unaware of to what you are referring

thanks...in my owner's manual there are two sets of instructions. 1) Flat Tire Monitor and then a page later 2) Tire pressure monitor. Each has the exact same instructions but the 'reset' icons pictured are different.

does anyone know if you can upgrade to TPMS from FTM? I'm looking at buying a set of 18's that have TPMS sensors in them and am wondering what it would take to get a reciever in the car (2006 330xi).
