Connected Apps + Other Coding questions

Hello everybody!

I just ordered all the necessary kit to begin coding, but I was wondering if you could activate Connected Apps via coding, or if there is a necessary hardware upgrade. (I want to have spotify playlist control via the idrive for safety reasons)

Also, I currently have the ambient light on its brightest setting (which isnt all that bright) - does coding allow you to increase it more?

Not sure about your questions however I would like to know the answers too...I am waiting on my cable to come in and I will adding the Extended Bluetooth so that I can the Office option. I'm also wondering if that would open up the Advanced traffic or is that only work with the subscription

Office functions can be coded. BMW apps requires an FSC (activation) code.

FSC activation? Is that something you get done at the dealer?

You can purchase FSC's from dealers or from other sources. I would ask someone like shawnsheridan.
