First time at the track this friday
Any tips on sport vs sport plus and moving the shifter to "s"?

Depends if you want good track time for having little fun time (sliding).
Sport plus + if I want good track time- I hit the shifter to the left if it's a tight course (autoX- shifter is always in the the left). With everything off and shifter to the left- have a little fun sliding around corners.

Evening track event. I did 5 sessions, over an hour of track time. I did both sport and sport +. Sport slowed me down with traction control a couple times.
It was a blast. I certainly broke in my brand new tires, and fried the front brakes!

But you will enjoy both. I tend to lean towards track to be more fun. Can push the car more to its limits. AutoX ur stuck in 2nd gear pushing it into corners...IMO.
