Post Am I overboosting?

Hey guys,

First off, want to say I'm very fresh to logging so I'm sorry for the noob question!

My question is in relation to the (messy) log found here: http://datazap.me/u/fuji/first-test-...=0&data=4-7-23

I had a muck around with MHD logging last night and whilst running MHD Stage 1 FMIC, I hit a peak boost of 17 psi. The boost target appears to be set to 16 psi, according to the log. Does this mean that I'm overboosting and should be concerned?

Thanks in advance

It does look like you're overboosting and as a result you have throttle closures.

Is your foot fully down on the accelerator?

Nah it wasn't fully down! I had a read of potential causes and some people mentioned faulty TMAP sensors + boost solenoids. My boost solenoids are brand new though

That log is no good. You need a good WOT from 2000-6300rpm in 3rd to evaluate how the car is running. Partial pedal input will make the throttle go all over the place.

WOW 4th gear logs!!! Your game.

Ideally it would be good to gain the data of a shift from 3rd-4th while logging. Post shift data is just as important IMHO.

More logs here:
http://datazap.me/u/fuji/no-wot-3rd-...og=0&data=4-23
http://datazap.me/u/fuji/no-wot-3rd-...og=1&data=4-23

Unfortunately I didn't have much road, so WOT was pretty much impossible!

Logs are useless again. You need to stick that pedal all the way down and leave it there. Don't be scared to push the old girl a little. Find a nice "private" road and open that Beeeeeeatch up.

I've got a few industrial estates near my place that are reasonable for logging. Straight and reasonably flat
