In recent history BMW has always followed a 3 series sedan with a coupe within a year. This time its a little different with the sedan releasing early. But that only means they should follow with a coupe within a year and a half. In all cases this would mean a Sept coupe release at the latest. Normally I put a lot of stock in Roundel, but I think they have a Spring '07 coupe release all wrong. A year from now replacing the e46 coupe with a e90 seems way too long to hold over the e46 coupe. Those sales have already plummeted.

I think the magazine mixed up the release dates of the coupe and cabrio, with the coupe coming earlier, and the convertible in spring 07.

new coupe will be release in this year, march 2006
becuase i suppose pick up a 2006 coupe next month, i order it in first of month this year and they told me that they dont make coupe with old body any more told me to wait they will release in march with new coupe with new body. bmw of manhattan

Yeah, I originally didn't see that... hmm... that does seem a little backwards. Well... I still haven't confirmed this yet, so I am going to go with this is more than likely a typo. I was just getting excited that someone else also thought it could happen.

This makes a lot of sense. Especially since historically the 3 series releases have been sedan year one, coupe year two, cabrio and M year 2.5 or 3.

Keep in mind guys - Roundel is not "official" BMW news. They get stuff wrong just like you.

They were wrong about not being able to remount run-flats.

I was disappointed not to see a "Correction" on this. I think I will shoot them an email.

I am in CA in NJ and I guarantee you wont take delivery of a cope in 1 month. We are not even able to place orders yet on the car. We have nothing to go on and we have not even got engine choices yet. I think you need to get your deposit back and find a dealer that actually knows what going on and wont lie to you to keep your money.
