Will these CSL wheels fit the E92 M3s?

I was all ready to order these for my car but wanted to make sure that it will be a proper fit.... offsets and all....

No, they are not the proper offset for your new M3.

The bolt pattern and the centerbore should be the same but the offsets I believe are different...

8.5 et29; 9.5 et23. Changes, of course, if you change width.

thanks.
4 rear ZCP (CSL) wheels should fit nicely front and back in your E92... that's what I'm planning to do indeed.

If you use the wheel calculator http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=12 you will notice that with a 9.5" ET 27 wheel in the front (ZCP rear wheel), the difference compared with the E9x M3 front OEM 19" 8.5" ET 29 is:

Quote:
11mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 15mm
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59670

That's within acceptable levels considering how wide the front fenders are and that in my old E46 M3 I was running 15mm spacers in the front with the front 8" ZCP wheels. Regardless, once I get my M3 I will be test fitting those wheels in the front to be 100% sure, especially the 11mm less clearance on the strut side. I think that the 15mm to the edge of the fender will be just perfect. And with that concave wheel front and back those wide fenders will be just nasty...

By the way, there's a M5 with the same setup in one forum... that's where I got the idea for the new M3.

Have you contacted Turner to see if they have a recommendation?

I've contacted Rich from BMW motorsport (he's a vendor here in the forums) and he said he is getting the CSL wheels with the correct front offset for the E92 M3s around late March. I will let you guys know when I come visit him with my car for proper fitment of these wheels.

That sounds to me like replicas, not CSL/ZCP wheels...

The CSL wheel is a beautiful piece I am just wondering if this is negative progress. I am sure the new CSL will have a different design. I guess we will see.

I have a set of proper/original CSL wheels, not the one that came with the competition package, and I am wondering whether they will fit my E92 M3.

When the new M3 made its world premier, it was rolled out on CSL/CSL-ZCP like wheels.

What's the offset of the original CSL wheels, and that would give a good indication as to the fitment.
