TTFS Shop M2

Hey guys,

Here is a updated graph on our shop M2. We flashed it back to stock and made around 340 whp, then flashed back the mild break in tune from the first night we had the car (4/8/16) and made about 368 whp. We now a added down pipe and are around 380 whp. The car is breaking in well and we are putting miles on her. Proper tune will come after 1k miles. Keep following our progress!

You beat me to it. This was really my personal favorite part of yesterday's testing. My goal was to get the down pipe fitted with out any leaks and to see if she will need an exhaust or not.

The down pipe completes this car in terms of exhaust note. It is slightly louder in the cabin with a minor drown for the elderly ears. It is just loud enough to be aggressive but not enough to upset your neighbors and attract unwanted or childish attention. I know we all go through it, I certain set alarms off in my time. If you want an aggressive sound that adds horsepower while still keep things budget friendly for coil over funds. I strongly encourage it. I will see if I can get some sound clips between today and tomorrow.

I can not wait to get to 1k so Frank can stop joking with me and tune the car completely

Where can I buy the downpipe?

Edit: Just read your post in the downpipe thread about fitting the m235i one. Hope they come out with a direct bolt on one soon!

It is funny you say that because we did peak at the fuel lines when the car was on the lift. We would do a straight e85 similar to our e46 M3 set up with supported fuel system where necessary. It is the best thing you can do for a car like this at the track around the twisters. Run cool and fast!

For those that pm me about sound clip, we will have it up Saturday

We decided to have a little fun and help enthusiast see how the classic apex arc-8 will look on the car. Proper photo shoot coming tonight. Also we are testing on a proper tune today and we will post that on a separate thread.

If it is a M2 down pipe it should fit right up but if you are putting some other down pipe you will need to modify it a decent amount

We are still debating if we want to release it, but it we do it will be a tune and down pipe package since someone will take it and run to china with it.
