Dinan Flash / JB2 / etc. On Leased Vehicles
Can someone enlighten me on this?
Will having any of these boost adjusting chips/flashes effect my ability to retain warranty or return my vehicle without any problems after my 2 year lease? Would love the performance boost, but don't want to deal with any problems at lease end because of these things. Then there is the idea of paying $2k for 2 years of boost! Booo.. Appreciate your help. |

There are plenty of leasers on this board with some mods. The main thing is TAKE THE MODS OFF before you take it to the dealership. There have been a few horror stories here of voided warranty's. Good Luck!

Just wondering, if i do an engine tuner(other than dinan of course) and the dealership finds out thus voiding my warranty, but no problems arise, do i have to pay a fee at the end of the lease for killing the warranty?

OK, so what basically is the easiest to remove before taking to the dealer?
Also, if something did happen to the vehicle...could they tell it was from some tunner thing? |

SSTT is the most easiest to remove, u dont have to even look at the ECU box or play with any wires to even potential mess anyhing up.
it plugs into the tmap sensor, and works with the stock ecu to stay hidden. its pretty much impossible to even tell u ever had it on the car. |

Dont let anyone scare you. The JB2H is not that hard to install and it provides greater power then SSTT and at 200 dollars less. It is the all around best product on the market right now as far as price is concerned....
Do some research and come up with your own conclusion....

There are a lot of people who state that as reasoning for not buying, but in all honesty it is not hard at all..... Its all good man, to each his own....
