Need an answer fast,urgent (Procede)
I traded the 335i and I put the car back to stock. I tried putting pin by pin to its original location but the dealer called me and they said that the car runs like $hit.
I can only think that I might accidentally switched the yellow wires with white stripes around. Vishnu video shows that these two wires are number #6 and #7 on the black subconnetor within the small ECU connector. Have you guys ran into the same issue? would it really matter? I was running the Vishnu Procede V 1.47. Summary, if I accidentally switched the yellow with white stripe pin#6 into number #7 and viceversa, would it make it run like $hit? Thanks! |

Yellow wires are the O2 sensors right? Yea it probably would if you did.
Do they have anything on you if you did? Like is your deal all finished? I'm pretty sure the full disclosure laws only apply to private sales.

They called me and told me that it would cost them about $1000 to put the 2 rear cats missing. As far is the car, My new car is purchased and I already signed the papers and everything. I am willing to help them and I am sure it is only a misplaced wire but I am in Tucson and they are in Phoenix and they close their maintenance shop at 5pm. It takes me like 2 hours to get there with the roush hour.
I don't want them to try to subtract money or claim money from me in the terms of "repair" expenses. I already explained them that the rear cats are after the o2 sensors so it shouldn't affect much. |

Yes, the car would run poorly if you switched those two wires. Make sure that BMW wire 525 goes back into slot 6. The wire in slot 7 will not have a number on it.

Hey man, a little off topic, but if you still have the Koseis, I'm still interested. P.S., you won't have to pay the dealership any money. The deal is done. But, if you want to play nice, you could either tell them how to analyze the potential problem or make a trip over there. But, you have absolutely no obligation to pay any money.
