JB2 Dyno Numbers
are these numbers correct? saw them on another topic here.. not repeating, just verifying because I just recently switched to JB2... Thanks...
Supposedly done on Octane 93 (as stated below) -- for octane 91, probably -5 rwhp? ================================ JB2 is right around 315 rwhp (310 on 91) JB2H is around 325+ rwhp (320 on 91) JB2HH around 340 rwhp (335 on 91) JB2R around 350 rwhp (345 on 91) JB2HR around 360 rwhp (355 on 91) JB2HHR around 370 rwhp (365 on 91) PROcede v2 on 91 Octane with 14.5 psi peak boost around 340-342 rwhp PROcede v2 on 93 Octane with 15 psi peak boost around 350-355 rwhp Procede / JB2 / JB2HR 91 octane comparison : 340-342 VS 310 VS 355 93 octane comparison : 350-355 VS 315 VS 360 Originally I had Procede v2 on 91 octane, so I should have been getting 340-342 rwhp (without all the other stuff).. now I can get 355 rwhp with just JB2HR? so an additional 15rwhp just by switching tunes? .. but are the JB numbers done on 93 octane, or 100 octane?

so these numbers seem to be 93 octane? Thanks down4it.. so how do you like the comparison between JB2 and Procede? These numbers for JB2 seems to be better than Procede for the same apples-to-apples comparison.. yes, wanted to ask about that problem.. did you have it all the time (or just during procede, or just during jb2)?

How did you diagnose the problem since our engines are notorious for idle shakes? Was it during acceleration?

I thought if you run R, you must run 100oct

I will I just needed the switch so I can switch fast between non-100 and 100.. only one place around me that does 100 (down4it told me about that).. so in case I don't have 100 around (maybe on a trip?), then I can always set the "HR" to 0...
straight from Terry again... "Actually for 91 octane my suggestion would be the JB2HR. Run the R off on 91 octane, then turn it on when you have access to 100 octane. R off will still give similar performance to your V2." so it seems the difference between JB2 and the Procede v2 is the "R"s speed difference... +20 rwhp, as stated above..

Not true. Terry just RECOMMENDS you run 96 oct or higher with the R switch on. I have been using JB2 + R on 93 oct for a couple of weeks. The only thing I received is the half engine code on cold start ups, which disappears in a matter of seconds.

sorry, wrong post.. here it is straight from Terry...
"For 91 octane I only suggest the JB2, or JB2H if you want to push it a bit. The R map is really for race gas mix. Some get away with it on 93 but I don't suggest it. And not on 91 at all." so 96 octane, like what BMW_TT stated above... JB2 - 91 octane or higher -- 315 rwhp JB2H - 91 octane or higher (limit here for 91) -- 325 rwhp (H = 10 rwhp) JB2HR - 96 or higher -- 360 rwhp (7 rwhp from higher octane?, and 45 from HR) -- meaning R = 35 rwhp JB2HHR -100 or higher -- 370 rwhp (10 rwhp from higher octane?, and 55 from HHR) -- meaning R = 35 rwhp meaning every H = +10 rwhp, and every R = +35 rwhp (may not be how to calculate, but that is the "marketing" numbers)..

also depends on what dyno you're talking about. I went on Dyno Dynamics this weekend just JB2 91 octane and got 274.7whp. Dyno Dynamics are known to read a lot lower than others.

yes, but probably based on a percentage as well.. All together, seems like the JB2 makes more for the buck.. on the dyno chart as well as in the pocket!

I'd have to agree about JB2 being the bang for your buck item. roughly $400 for an item that gives you 40+ whp and 50+ wtq is cheap!

I think I don't like either products anymore. No more modding for me. Too much of a hassle removing it and stuff when going to the dealer. Just have to find something already super fast. Perhaps a GTR in a year when it can be had without a markup.....

how often do you go to the dealer? looks like you are probably going once a week or something.. Also, the main things are probably the brake pads/rotors and the oil change anyway.. and you can probably do that yourself haha.. you can't be too lazy now..
does anyone have a torque comparison for Procede and JB2? I can update the comparison on the first post if you do..
