Hi,

I got myself an F36 on order with delivery mid-May. I have Hi-Fi (676) option and not HK (as I have been disappointed with this in past BMW's) and I'm looking to go complete aftermarket as in my previous car, using (if possible) a MOST adapter for a fully digital signal.

Does anyone know if the Hi-Fi amp is fed through MOST or something else? Other options I have include 6AC, 6AE, 6AK, 6AP, 6NH, 6WA, 609. Also - if available - any coding required?

HiFi is fed just by normal inputs. Only HK has MOST.

But if you want you can code your HU to get the MOST signal out of it.

Any guidance on exactly what needs to be coded? I will have access to e-sys cable and PsdZdata. Thanks.

In the HU you have to code at the sound options external amp / MOST. I don't remember more exactly, but you will see when you check using Esys.

Then you should be able to insert the MOST connection of your new equipment into the MOST loop. As you have 6WA there are MOST cables at your HU quadlock.
