I understand the limits of tires.

How wide can one go?

Now on to the other stuff.

Will the M4 ceramic brakes bolt on? Yeah, never mind, they cost 13K How about a M4 BBK?

How about aftermarket M4 suspension goodies?

The M2 suspension is the same so theoretically it should all bolt on. Keep in mind there will be different engineering parameters for the spring rates and shock valving. You're better off getting something designed strictly for the M2.

Brakes will bolt right on. If you want better braking, wider tires and lowering the weight will do more than switching to a different brand rotor. The MCCB will also bolt right on, you'd need to change your fluid and that should be it.

Nobody has said how much wider one can go with respect to tires, but 20mm shouldn't be a problem at all. That being said, you're best option is to either measure the clearance, or wait until somebody else does.

I use to Auto-x and track my M roadster and I will do the same with my M2 when ever I get it.

Upgrading the stock tires will slow you down faster than upgrading the stock brakes. I will be at Sebring in a couple weeks with our M2 in bone stock configuration, and will then go back a month later with upgraded suspension, wheels/tires and engine mods as well to see how much of a difference in lap times we can get out of it.

All suspension and brake components should bolt right on. The weight difference is minimum so dampers shouldn't be an issues.(1M and E9x M3 had a much larger weight differential so some suspension tuners had specific part#'s for the two cars). Spring rates will be slightly different as well due to the weight differences.
