2017

My local ( smallish ) Dealer sold its two 2016 allocations before I made contact. They were kind enough to write me up for their first 2017 allocation.
My question to you folks in the know - when does MY2017 begin ? When does the 2017 Statement of Line get published ( more exterior colors ? ) ??
Thanks for your help

As stated above the model year changes in July, the issue though will be when they get allocation not when BMW changes the model year. If your dealer only got 2 2016's they are not likely to be at the top of BMW's list for allocations so it might be a while after July before they get the allocation, they may get one right away but don't get upset if you have to wait a while.

My dealer said I will have a production number assigned in August for a September build date. Does that mean I will get a 2017 M2?

Yes. All M2's build July or later will be 2017.
