BLINKER ISSUE................
I recently brought my 3 in to have a flat repaired, which by the way was 275 for the front tire, and 70 for mounting. So instead I had it patched for free at American Tire Co. Anyway, as I drove into the dealership I turned on my blinker, and there was no noise. No clicking. I asked the guy in service if he had heard of it and he said no. I have 8100 miles on the car as of right now, and it's the first time it's happened. He said no one there had seen it yet. I didn't have time to let them do a Diagnostic, but I was just wondering if anyone else has heard of this/experienced it before I take it in this weekend. Thanks.

Could be a speaker down. Do you have any bells working in the car (Such as the seatbelt warning)? If no, it's probably the speaker used for this (I remember reading something about that on this forum).

Cool thanks guys. No it's not working now. Ill take it in, maybe it's just a software update like you said.
In reference to runflat patching..... I had a very small piece of metal in the tread......as long as its not on the shoulder or sidewall, you can patch it. Just make sure they patch, and not plug. The tech at the dealership actually told me to go get it patched instead of a new tire. He said it would be fine, and it has been so far! Also, like 5 places that I called said "You can't patch a runflat tire, it has top be replaced".....just a heads-up in case anyone gets told they can't......but I kept calling around and found someone who new what they were talking about...... |
