Advancements in N54 DME tunability/features

I'd just like to make a mention of jyamona (Jake), who doesn't have much of a presence on E90Post who continues to advance our platform, regardless of if you're standalone or piggyback. Some of the tables that he's discovered over the past 18 months or so, but not limited to:

- Knock tables
- Idle tables
- MT post-shift bog fix table(s)
- IAT/Anti-lag error fix tables
- 1M/335is overboost tables
- Gear/diff ratio stuff
- Bosch Adv O2 sensor support

Up and coming very soon:

- Coolant temp control
- More boost control stuff. A way easier to tune WGDC (Base) table with RPM x Setpoint Axis, more control over spool mode activation and deactivation + more.

Ongoing work in progress:

- Tables for direct injection control/limits. This may possibly do away with the need for port injection at power levels where it's needed at the moment.

This work includes some cool stuff that very few other people can do. It also includes a lot of very boring, shitty parts too, which I've done a bit of myself and it's near impossible to self-motivate yourself to do this type of stuff unpaid.

If you support these types of advancements on our platform and want to see more, swing Jake a donation here:

So who takes advantage of all of his work?

Is all of his tech then incorporated in MHD tunes for example or does he offer it as freeware so to speak?

(just curious how one accesses his work to take advantage of it)

He offers the XDFs 100% free and public here https://github.com/dmacpro91/BMW-XDFs then all the tuners (both commercial and self-tuners) utilise them. Chances are, if you have any flash, whether it's a MHD off-the-shelf, MHD custom, JB4 back end flash or even a BBFlash flash, you're using at least one modified table by Jake.

No. The table definitions are published publically for free. Some/all tuners may or may not choose to make a donation. I don't know.

He works based off donations alone and naturally, more donations will help move things along. As a self-tuner, I really want to see things helped along as much as possible.

Ohhhh I see...in that case I'll donate to this cause as I have found this forum has been much more helping than my previous decades being on jdm forums
