e90 software update/power loss?

just got my 2006 330xi back from the dealer today. had problems with my bluetooth, so they did the whole software upddate thing. took them two days!! i went into the shop and they showed me how they were having problems because they were updating EVERYTHING. they even resorted to disconnecting the battery to try to get some of the systems to take the new software. in any event, since the update, the car seems to be lacking a few horses. it almost feels like my old e46 when i would take the shark injector out. is this just my imagination, or do you think that they tweeked the engine software while they where in there?? anyone else had this happen??

invoice says this---00 56 105-13, code 84 11 91 45 00
also states---reprogramed entire car as per sib 84 25 05

any input would be helpful!!

There was an engine update too, but I'm feeling like there are more horses, if anything. I've also noticed that I'm getting better gas milage.

Yup..I definitely agree with you on that..I definitely felt the car was slower after the reprogramming..But the ECU does take a little time to readapt to your driving habits..In my case its pretty aggressive...

It is just so unbelievable that in 2006, a BMW software upgrade should take such a very long time. What a drain on resources and most importantly, those who have the update have to wait such a long time. One day, two days, three days. That is just not on. And especially from BMW.

No updates for me. Sorry to those who have to endure the pain of waiting.
