Anyone able to get Euro Delivery MSRP from US Dealers?

New to the M2 side of the forums.

I'm curious to see how many of you were able to secure the ED price.
From my understanding, some dealers are charging a market adjustment and most are selling at MSRP.

A dealer I spoke with states that they are willing to do ED, but as US MSRP price because its coming out of their allotment.
In other words, they don't want to lose on their 3% holdback on an ED.

Anyone here lucky enough to do an ED and get ED pricing from a US dealer?

I'm currently #1 at my dealer in Maine "hoping" to do ED in June, but I highly doubt that's going to be possible

That being said, they are quoting me the ED price with no mark-ups whatsoever We'll see if they ever get an allocation! (I'll be getting the car either way)

Two dealers here said they would sell at ED MSRP. One put it in writing. I decided against ED at this point (wife doesn't want to leave kids for a week)...

Yes, from two different dealers. One in VA and one in NJ.

Please don't confuse your own thread with comments about dealer allotment or holdback.

There is only one question to ask the dealer.

Will you sell me the car at ED MSRP (or for those of you who think you can only buy with a discount then name your own price here).

The dealer rep shouldn't make excuses and you shouldn't care to listen to anything but a yes or no answer and move on to the next dealer.

I had a wife like that.... Note operative word ...

My god man ... We are talking about bucket list and lifetime memories that your wife just isn't smart enough to realize ..:. ( with all due respect !).

You need to take control of this situation and make it happen ! Apparently there must be some law that kids can't go to Europe ?

Here is how i handled my Ex that didn't want to go to Europe.

Hey .. Guess what. I've ordered my car. (Wait for exclamations of how expensive this is and how " selfish " I am. ... ). Yes and I'm online st AA.com and I'm gonna order tickets for European delivery. I can check the box that says TWO (our daughter and I ) or THREE (our daughter and you and I).

She chose wisely. ! She chose three!

And she loved the trip. She had never left the United Stated before and felt the plane ride was too far. And she had never understood why I felt BMWs are so fun. Well, she apparently found out on that trip, Because she bought one within 6 months of us returning and has purchased no less than FOUR BMWs since going to Germany, including two E46 M3s.

And yes. She's my Ex.

I wanted to do ED so bad but not one dealer I spoke with had allocations for it. They basically said not a chance. Seeing all of this uncertainly with allocations and ED timing, I guess I'm better off not doing it. I definitely HAVE to experience it once in my life though.

So far, two dealers want a $5000 mark up, another has no idea, and one I'm dealing with is willing to do ED, at US MSRP. I have a deposit and a buyers order signed, but no price yet.

They assure me no mark ups, but ED at US MSPR, #5 out of 9 for the list.

Great story! So, I have to admit...I am seemingly laying this all on my wife. I should clarify. Yes, my wife is reluctant to spend a week away from the kids (3 and 6 yrs old). She's done it before to see her parents, but I stayed at home. But in reality, there's more to it. I/we had our hearts set on a Fall 2016 ED (specifically Oktoberfest). My SA says that would have likely pushed us into a MY017 M2 (no big deal), but more importantly couldn't really say when I would take delivery, since they don't know their allocation. Couple that with the fact that I am #1 on their list, and their HEA car is built exactly how I want it, this means I should have it on/near 4/16.

So, yes ED is a bucket list trip. Couldn't agree more. My wife and I both SWORE we will do it...eventually.

So it'll happen!

I was able to get the European Delivery price from my local dealer, my dealer also confirmed it comes from their allotment.

Good luck!

I believe dealers get a car allotment credit the following month after an ED sale. So it's still an extra car on the backend. An ED car isn't built until about two-three weeks before you take delivery at the Welt.
