Newb performance exhaust question
What's up guys. I've done some searching on exhaust, but most of the threads deal with sound.
My goal is quicker acceleration. Right now a Dinan intake is the only performance mod I've done to my e90 325i. I think I was really over-estimating what the intake would do for my car. It sounds deeper, but that's the only difference I've noticed. I don't care about sound, but I'm looking for performance. I'm also not purchasing right away, but this is something I'd like to know. Which exhaust components should I be thinking about if I'm building for acceleration rather than sound? Can I realistically expect anything more than 5-10 hp gains? If I'm not feeling anything different after the 5 hp from the intake, I don't see myself spending money for another 5-10. Thanks for any direction! |
