Excessive drivers seat wrinkling?

I have a 325 xi with the leather sport seats and have a big slide in wrinkle.
I only have 1200 miles on her and I am 5' 8", 170 lbs. Is this normal or did the factory do a poor job upholstering this seat?
Anyone else?
TIA

I've considered getting leatherette just for that reason. My 99 A4 w/ leatherette has 106k miles worth of 6'4"/225lbs in the front seat and there isn't a wrinkle to be found....

My center armrest has what looks like loose, excessive leather (wrinkling). Luckliy, my seats looks perfect (but I have only had my car 4 months, and only have 800 miles).

Right now, I won't even bother with taking it to the dealership, because it doesn't look so bad.

sport seats require a bit of finesse when entering or exiting, you can't just jump in like you would in standard seats or you'll be squashing the side bolster on the door side

Mine has the same thing but nothing too big. I thought that is made for purpose to let it breathe or something. Someone mentioned it here before stating that they purposely do that..

My 02 A4 has leatherette and looks just like the day I bought it. So when I went to get my BMW I knew I wanted the leatherette. Love the sport seats but my memory settings don't seem to be working right. I hope the BMW leatherette holds up as well as my Audi's.

Funny my Audi leatherette split on its side after 6 months and the back (lumbar) got permanently stained with my belt.

I love the leather on the sports seats, frankly IMHO the wrinkles give it class.

I currently have a 99.5 Audi A4 (anxiously awaiting my E90 end of March)with leatherette seats. They have held up fine up until a year ago. I noticed the foam or whatever is underneath the material wasn't there any more. Still looks fine though.

Like Oprah(Ward) said, I "drop" myself into the center of the drivers seat and I use zaino leather cleaner and conditioner to help keep the leather looking great!

My seats are doing that just a bit, but i noticed that if you keep the leather conditioned with leather conditioner it really helps them. I've been using Zaino leather conditioner for a while and it seams to work really well. i know there are a lot of othe brands out there for leather conditioner. I'd recomend trying of of them and see if it helps.

Leatherette is so practical -- 7.5 years on mine and looks like baby skin. Hoping for alcantara/cloth M-pack combo on the 335 though...

How warm do you want the leather when applying this? Are we talking just 70 or do you want it hot?

I've applied z9 & z10 when it was 37 degrees outside, and when it was 90 degrees, and I don't notice a difference in how the product performs with the leather.
