335I VS Porsche Turbo

Sorry, not a " I killed a 911 Turbo" story.

I was wondering what would have less turbo lag, our 335I with their small size and low inertia.

OR

the new 911's with their variable pitch turbine blades.

Anybody know?

Granted there is very little lag, but there is a lag. You drive any N/A V8 sports car and you will know what I mean, the throttle response on a N/A V8 is RIGHT NOW.

So, anyways my question is still out there for anybody that knows

335i tends to get the jump, considering it makes less power, i would say it has less lag

i am at very high altitude, and my car does not start pulling until approx 2,500rpm. how about you sea level guys? what rpms does it take to start the pull?
